It was still dark and quite gloomy when Indy and I passed here earlier. When we returned an hour later the sun was just beginning to peek over the hills. The result was magic. The frost was still in shadow, the trees across the river just catching the light. OK. It might not be the actual last frost but with the last of the official winter months ending I could feel my heart lifting with the approaching change in the seasons. For me then, this felt like the last frost of winter.
