Today Indy and I walked up Groom Road and decided to come back down the Arboretum track. The weather has been a bit dodgy recently and I was not sure what we might find if anything at all. The last time I came past this way it had been raining and looked a bit sad. Today the skies had cleared and all the rain had brought the hillside to life. An hour earlier and we might have been looking directly into the sun. As it was well past nine o clock it had swung away North and the contours of the valley were revealed. My painting for the day.
