It has been a long time coming, a whole twelve months in fact. The show will be spectacular. Eighteen large paintings, oil on canvas, from the bottom of the South Island up to the lower North Island. The past few days I have spent writing the stories behind each one.
Next week it is back into the studio, attaching the fittings and labels. Then the final varnishing.
January is supposed to be promoting the show. Not my favourite activity but as they say, “Needs must when the devil drives.”
